Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?

Only alcohol purchased at the event is allowed on site. We also ask that you avoid bringing any glass. We have some great traders on site who also contribute to keeping the event free so we’d love you to support them if you can; however, you are welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks. If you bring your own picnic, we encourage you to take your rubbish home for recycling and composting – thank you.

Barbecues are not permitted.

May I bring my dog?

No, dogs are not allowed on the lower terrace at any time unless they are an assistance dog.

Will I be photographed?

What is disabled access like?

The Lower Terrance can be accessed by predominantly flat wide paths from the car park and is wheelchair accessible; however, the viewing area is predominantly grass. Limited disabled parking is available in the car park at East Court Mansion which is adjacent to the garden. If you have any specific needs please get in touch to discuss with the team.

Please tell our Traffic Marshalls if you need access to the disabled parking area and they will direct you. Please be aware that the disabled parking area is limited, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I bring a gazebo or umbrella?

As the garden is on a slope it’s not suitable for gazebos. However, you are welcome to bring small umbrellas and other sun shades. Please be careful not to obscure anyone else’s view. You may be asked to locate at the back of the garden.

Should I bring a chair or picnic rug?

The garden has a natural amphitheatre design well suited to music events. You’re welcome to bring a chair if you sit at the back of the garden, however, for most people the easiest option is to bring a picnic rug.

It’s a bit loud who can i contact at the event?

We understand that events generate noise there isn’t part of the normal background noise for a Sunday in East Grinstead. We actively monitor the noise level around the East Court Estate to comply with the guidelines in The Noise Council code of practice on environmental noise at concerts. But our Production team are contactable on 01403 888 005 during the event. We take all calls seriously and will do our best to adjust to ensure that we are not breaching the guidelines and reduce the impact of the event.
