Alter Ego, a great live band,who are now celebrating their 17th year!,specializing in providing great music for all occasions. Based in Sussex we regularly play in pub venues. Check out the calendar page for upcoming gigs.
We also are available to play functions and have been well received at everything from Weddings to Birthdays, Retirements and Anniversaries.
Steve, Coops, Baz and Jon have all been playing for many years and love it when there is a room full of people singing and dancing along to their songs. The band’s repertoire covers popular music from the ’60s to the Present day. We strive to play something for everyone and keep most of the people happy most of the time. We spend a lot of time on getting the song to sound good rather than creating a wall of noise.

The Reminiscents

Reminiscents are a Rock Trio from East Grinstead who formed after collaborating together over the years at numerous open mics and jam sessions. Alex, Andras and Rob found that, having been playing music in many various styles over their careers ranging from funk and soul and rock and roll to progressive rock and heavy metal, that together they create a powerful atmosphere while maintaining a vibey sound.
Artists covered in their performances include Squeeze, Joe Jackson, Travis, REM, The Strokes and The Kaiser Chiefs with a bit of Motorhead and Foo Fighters thrown in for good measure. Add in a sprinkling of pub classics and you will surely appreciate an uncompromising set of songs that range from a whisper to a scream!

Gee is an established lead Singer – Percussionist – Entertainer on the Club, Corporate & Private entertainment circuit. G
ee brings his wealth of experience to the stage. With his engaging style and innovative approach he ensures the audience enjoy his live performance throughout the show. You will not be disappointed by this excellent soul singer, not only one of the UK’s great musicians, but one of the great showmen too. He covers all angles and is undoubtedly the real thing. Gee Bello is an original member of the Wham band and performed lead & background vocals for George Michael and Andrew Ridgley on the Club Fantastic Tour in 1983.
Since the passing of George in 2016, Gee is often asked to perform Wham and George songs in his set, which on the right occasion he is happy to do so. He also has also worked closely with Alexander O’Neal on his 2007 & 2008 National UK Tours where Gee featured as the opening act with Nat Augustin and then performed in Alex’s band playing percussion and background vocals, he even found time to write and co-produce in the studio for the American soul star. The Almost Elvis Band

The members of The Almost Elvis Band have been playing together since 2003, and since Elvis turned up in 2012, they have performed and headlined theatres, town festivals, Vegas nights, hotels, golf & country clubs, beer festivals, weddings and private parties for audiences of all ages.
You are booking what we believe to be Elvis with a kick-ass band, to make you party from the early years tunes, through the movie years and into the Vegas shows. He will be with you, in the audience from the stage to the bar, from the tables to the dance floor with all the swagger and quips and voice that made Elvis Presley “The King”, backed by a hard working band, taking care of business (did you see what we did there? : ) with all the licks and power of The King’s equally famous musicians.
Saying all that…The Almost Elvis Band came about not only from a love of the music, but the premise that we could put on this kind of party, connecting with people who also love this music and want to have a great time.
